Salvation

 “He whom the Son sets free in Free Indeed”. Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sins by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. You believe in your heart that JESUS is a son of God and that He died and resurrected from the dead, then declare it with your mouth that ‘I am saved’, then you get a free ticket to become a child of God. Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1

Salvation requires repentance, which means a “turning.” Jesus said, “Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3). The New Testament emphasizes the necessity of repentance and salvation: “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19).

If you desire to have a relationship to the Lord, that can be accomplished right where you are, right now. Make your journey to the cross today, through this basic prayer of commitment:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned, and I cannot save myself. I believe that you are the Son of God, and that you died and rose again for me, to forgive my sins, and to be my Savior. I turn from my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. I receive you into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Jesus, thank you for saving me now, Help me to live the rest of my life for you. Amen.”

ETERNITY…

God’s original plan was for man to exist forever. It is man’s choice to either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. John 3:16; John 14:17; Romans 6:23; Romans 8:17-18; Revelation 20:15; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9
